I would if I could, but I can’t posters.

Cancelling The Good Life Experience in 2020 was, in hindsight, inevitable. But that didn’t stop it hurting us, and hurting our community too.

We dusted ourselves off and we, in hindsight, optimistically aimed to host the festival over the early May bank holiday in 2021. That was a no go, too.

So, we changed. We looked at the site. We looked at the figures. We asked ourselves some tough questions.

What resulted was not a re-run of 2020’s postponed TGLE, but instead the creation of three brand new, much smaller, much more intimate events:

But we wouldn’t be here without The Good Life Experience. Over seven wonderful years TGLE has shaped our team in extraordinary ways. We’re learned and we’ve grown and we’ve become true experts in the process.

The Good Life Experience is dead, at least for now, but long live The Good Life Society! These posters are our way of celebrating the good times and having a bit of fun along the way.

2020 truly was the year of disappointed squiggles on hurriedly emptying calendars.

Let’s hope for better and brighter days ahead.

Together we have created something truly special that will live on in many of our hearts. We’ve built a community of shared beliefs and enthusiasms and we have had a lot of fun. It has been a deep privilege getting to know so many guests and performers.
