We've hosted Tai Chi sessions -with Rose & Gerry- since TGLE No.1 back in 2014. They're passionate to introduce people to Tai Chi as a way to chime in with the Good Life values - living at our best in the moment, enjoying self expression, fellowship and finding ways to enhance our common well being and make new friends.
Try your hand at one of the oldest, and most authentic forms of Tai Chi, the Chen style, as well as the simplified Yang form that many have encountered while on holidays.

reasons to be cheerful with mark shayler
It’s a new dawn, a new day, and I’m feeling good.
This is a fresh set of talks at TGLE. The idea is to create a set of talks so inspiring, so positive, that it sets the weekend up. This is an ”up-close and personal” approach. The plan is a talk each from 2 speakers. Then a conversation between Mark and the speakers, then a long Q&A. This will take 90 mins per pair. Then a break. Then we do two more speakers. Then we go again.

overcome your fears
From Hilary Gallo’s fear hack to conquering Hawarden Castle, a weekend at The Good Life can help you overcome your fears. Test your resolve at the fire walk, try your hand at flying trapeze, or abseil down the walls of a 700-year-old castle.
The Good Life Experience is unique in its openness and friendliness. There are fences and security, of course. But there are few other festivals that encourage guests to genuinely explore the site: the hills, the woods, the village, The Old Castle, the farmland. Bring the dog!
Head down to our beautiful lake, and Victorian Boat House, to find out the schedule and sign-up for sessions throughout the day. The schedule will alternate between wild swimming and canoeing.
