We're searching for a brilliant Junior / Mid-Weight Designer to join our marketing team. The role will see you take control of the visual identity for six vibrant, interesting and exciting businesses across a range of sectors, including: Pedlars, The Good Life Experience, Glen Dye Cabins & Cottages, The Glynne Arms, Hawarden Estate Farm Shop and Hawarden Castle Pavilion.
That's an online vintage marketplace, a general store and café, a festival, a luxury self-accommodation business, a series of small camps/festivals, a pub, a farm shop and a wedding/events space. Plenty to get stuck into!
The position is based in West London, and will see you work directly alongside our Head of Marketing as well as working closely with colleagues in Wales and Scotland.
Level: Junior / Mid-Weight
Contract: Full Time
Salary: Dependent on experience.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL…
Have experience with both digital and print design.
Use Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) daily.
Have good knowledge of HTML + CSS.
Be familiar with motion design (GIFs, video editing).
Be familiar with Shopify, Mailchimp and Squarespace.
Be organised and highly engaged.
Be motivated by sales created as a result of their work.
Have an understanding of small business and the work it takes to make them succeed.
Want to stamp a portfolio of businesses with their design.
Want to make cool sh*t. Loads of it.
ROLES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
Responsible for media content for different channels: curating Instagram account, newsletters, product photography and merchandising.
Making improvements to pedlars.co.uk (Shopify) and assisting in product upload, curation and promotion.
THE GOOD LIFE EXPERIENCE.
Maintaining and expanding brand identity, web development (Squarespace), digital and print marketing collaterals, merchandise, video editing.
GLEN DYE CABINS & COTTAGES.
Maintaining and expanding of brand identity, digital and print marketing collaterals, merchandise, web design and front-end development (Squarespace).
Designing social media campaigns, newsletters and video editing.
HAWARDEN ESTATE FARM SHOP, THE GLYNNE ARMS & HAWARDEN CASTLE PAVILION.
Designing and updating menus and events flyers, POS graphics and print + digital advertising.
Web design and front-end development (Squarespace).
All the businesses are all small/mid-sized and an ability to adapt and ‘muck in’ is essential.
