SUPER EARLY BIRD TICKETS SOLD OUT

The Good Life Experience 2019 was a triumph. The new site -framed by two historic castles- welcomed 3,000 guests and their happy hounds to the rolling hills and ancient woodlands of the Hawarden Estate, North Wales. Hawarden Castle, the former home to four-time Prime Minister William Gladstone, opened its doors for the first time to festival goers in 2019 with inspirational talks, workshops, choir sessions and a very special Guy Chambers piano set taking place in the Drawing Room.

The firsts just kept on coming at TGLE 2019 too... take Britain's first Dog Diving competition down at The Lake for example. Judged by author and broadcaster Ben Fogle and TV vet and potter James Greenwood, over 200 adventurous canines took off from the pontoon beside the beautiful Victorian boathouse to splash down in the cool waters. Hilarity ensued. But it didn't take long for calm to descend back over The Lake, as wild swimmers resumed their gentle paddles through the sun-kissed waterlilies.

As ever, this festival proved itself to be utterly unique in it's quality, attention to detail, depth and -most importantly- warmth. No where else in Britain can guests enjoy music curated by Cerys Matthews MBE, world-leading chefs cooking over open campfires, expert craftspeople, handpicked food and drink vendors, a programme of dangerous activities such as axe throwing, archery, abseiling and flying trapeze, a free vintage fairground, hands-on workshops, go glamping in the walled garden of a historic castle, and bring the dog. All of it set within a few friendly fields in Flintshire.

TGLE is a family-run festival with no full-time employees. As co-founder Charlie Gladstone says: "We work tirelessly and with absolute attention to detail to create Britain’s best and most intimate festival of fun and discovery. Everything that we do for The Good Life Experience we do with love and care."
