Back in July we announced our very first film competition, in partnership with the brilliant folks at Aber Falls Distillery. There was a grand prize of £1,000 to be won, alongside tickets to TGLE18.

This year's theme was 'provenence', and we blown away by the participation shown by so many excellent filmakers. We had an astonishing 1607 entries in this, our inaugural year.

Our expert panel, including the likes of Kirstie Allsopp, Vivienne Rickman-Poole, Tom Herbert, Mark Shayler, Dan Kieran, Jessica Seaton, Cerys Matthews & Caroline Gladstone, have now selected their winner: Waterlog. It's worth a watch!

Waterlog is a short documentary which tells the story of writer Joe Minihane and his battle with anxiety.

Finding an antidote in the form of wild swimming Joe sets out to retrace the route of environmentalist Roger Deakin's nature writing classic, Waterlog.

In a journey that takes him to every corner of the UK he eventually finds relief, not just in the cold waters he swims in, but by being open and honest about his mental health.
