Volunteer stewards are vital to the smooth running of The Good Life Experience. Each volunteer will normally work one 6 -8 hour shift each day, sometime between the hours of 7am and 2am. As a steward you will be carrying out a variety of duties including car park and camp site stewards, manning road crossings, wristbanding, litter picking and assisting in other areas of the festival as directed. You will need to arrive by 10am on Friday 14th September to be ready for briefings and site familiarisation walk. You are welcome to arrive on Wednesday 11th September after 4pm to camp that night, and stay until noon on Monday 16th September.
We will provide you with: Camping tickets, car park ticket, one meal and one drink each day, suitable hi viz, full briefings, supervision on the job.
You will need to provide us with a £20 deposit which is refundable on completion of your shifts and payable to us by 3th September 2018. We will refund your money on Friday 23rd September.
You will also need to make your own way to The Good Life Experience and bring your own camping equipment.
All our volunteers need to be over 18 years of age by 11th September 2018.

We are looking for great photographers to capture the essence of this year's Good Life Experience. If you are a photographer and would like to volunteer your skills in return for a festival ticket, please send some examples of your work to firstname.lastname@example.org. All photographers will of course retain ownership of their photographs and The Good Life Experience will have the right to use them for future publicity of the festival. Photographers will also be credited where their photos are used.
We are looking for great people to work over the weekend of our festival from Thursday 12th-Sunday 16th September. This is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in events and -of course- in excellent food and drink! The rate of pay is dependent on the role and experience. We need paid staff for the following pre + post event roles:
Main Information station, Bell tent information and registration station, entrance gate stewards, wristbanding, stewards for campsites, campervans and car parks
BUILD + BREAK
Erecting & Dismantling the Bell Tents – Must be available from 4th– 22nd Sept approx. Erecting and dismantling fencing, signage, stocking bars, general fetching and carrying
You must be 18 years old and have experience of working in a busy bar environment, serving a variety of drinks from draught lager, real ale and spirits to simple cocktails. The bars will be open from 10am - 2am so you must be available for work until at least 2.30am.
GENERAL RETAIL ASSISTANTS
General assistance in the Hawarden Estate Farm Shop, duties will include restocking shelves, clearing tables and general assistance on the shop floor.
Catering will be on offer from 8am - 2am so you must be available for work until at least 2.30am. This role will involve serving customers, cash handling, liaising with the chefs and preparing orders.
We are looking for kitchen staff to prepare, cook and serve simple, healthy food. This role will involve pre-festival food preparation, cooking and serving to order and daily stock replenishment.
